Fertilising + Planting
Farmers turn to fertilisers because these substances contain plant nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Fertilisers are simply plant nutrients applied to agricultural fields to supplement required elements found naturally in the soil. Fertilisers have been used since the start of agriculture.
The best time to fertilise your lawn is in the spring, when the soil temperature reaches 55 degrees Fahrenheit. You’ll know when the soil warms up to 55 because the lilacs begin to blossom and the grass starts growing.
Ideally, you should fertilise trees about once a year and flowering/fruiting plants about 2-3 times per year
